Escape from it all

Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
There are thousands of small, mostly rural, sites known as certificated locations (CL's) hidden away in some of the most delightful corners of the country, offering their own unique charm. Often owned by farmers or in the grounds of pubs, these secret hideaways represent all that’s best in touring – the element of exploration and discovery.
Exclusivity
Most are for the exclusive use of members of the main caravan clubs, licensed through a unique act of Parliament, and they are only allowed to have five pitches.
That makes them very special. For some, it’s the main reason they join these clubs. Some would say, this is the best kept secret in caravanning! Find out more about The Caravan Club.
Making friends

Think of it. There you are in some remote spot, undiscovered by the majority of holidaymakers, and far from the madding crowd. You make firm friends with the couple who own the farm, who bring you fresh eggs for your breakfast, and treats for your dog.
Inside knowledge

They tell you about the hidden walks nearby, where you can spot kingfishers, or the pub with the amazing venison pie you really should sample. These are the kind of places that people return to year after year, with the site owners almost becoming members of the family.
