Sea views

Take Trewethett Farm Caravan Club Site, located high on the cliffs in Cornwall, with breathtaking views overlooking Bossiney Cove’s sandy beach. The coastal path borders the site, with spectacular clifftop walks to Tintagel, reputedly the birthplace of King Arthur.

Natural wonders

Or the site at Bunree Caravan Club Site in Scotland, at the water’s edge of Loch Linnhe with fantastic views across the water to the mountains, a stone’s throw from Britain’s highest point, Ben Nevis.

The wild life

Of course, not all sites can boast quite such magnificent views but you'll find sites designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest, others specifically planted to provide habitat for rare birds or mammals, or where endangered plants are protected.

There are even Caravan Club Sites in National Parks.

Beauty spots

Some are in naturally sheltered spots such as reclaimed quarries, which have their own charm. Others are hidden in secluded woodland or in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Fantastic facilities

Many sites have facilities that wouldn’t appear out of place in a smart hotel. Pristine toilet blocks with showers and baby changing facilities are just some of the luxuries you may expect.

A few pounds a night

You might think this will all come at a high price, but you’d be wrong. Staying at a top quality caravan site costs from as little as £10 per party per night with a caravan or motorhome to around £40 for a family of four in peak season, especially if you enjoy the concessions available to members of caravan clubs. Compare this with the cost of a package holiday and you can see why caravanning is so popular. Electricity is normally included in the price, too.
